How to keep a winning team winning

Many executives have built a winning team at some point in their lives. They generally treasure the memories of those teams long into the future. A smaller number of executives have kept their team winning year after year. This group has many more fond memories AND is also more prosperous.

Executives with teams that win year after year position the individual members to contribute from their strength. The individual members’ full-hearted participation keeps the team winning AND drives them to want to stay on the team.

In other words, it’s not enough to be a part of the win. Instead, each person must feel they were contributing from their strength and their individual strength made a difference.
